There are five of us.... Jeff LaBonde, Steve Gudelunas, Chris LaBonde, Maura Johnston and Pat Priory. Whitewater Pass was formed in the Spring of 2011 and have been climbing ever since. We have been working on developing an original sound built around sweeping vocal melodies and harmonies, with a crisp edge of rock and roll. The band formed when Jeff, Steve, and Chris began arraginging the harmonies to Jeff's songs of life experience. Maura and Pat then joined the band soon after, and Whitewater Pass was formed.
Currently we are in the process of recording our first EP with Grammy Award Winning Producer Aaron Levinson at Range Recording Studios in Ardmore, PA. That record, titled "Not A Dream" will be released in 2012.
In 2011, we played all across the Philadelphia area including the North Star Bar, The Grape Room, The Tin Angel, Milkboy Coffee Main Stage, Burlap and Bean Coffee, Chaplin's Music Cafe, and Hillside Farms. The beginning of 2012 has been dedicated to the creation of "Not A Dream" and we are looking forward to performing this summer!
